P-200 PRINTER
Print and Shape
Mantle’s P-200 printer is a hybrid system built on a trusted CNC platform. It integrates 3D printing of Mantle’s metal pastes with precision machining to produce parts with the accuracy and surface finish required for tooling. The P-200 printer has a build volume of 200mm x 200mm x 150mm.
P-200 Printer: $230,000
F-200 FURNACE
Sinter
Mantle’s F-200 furnace sinters the parts printed in the P-200 printer and solidifies them into durable, accurate tool steel components. One furnace can sinter multiple parts and can support multiple printers.
F-200 Furnace: $120,000
ENGRINEERED
FOR PRECISION
Eliminate machining and EDM operations by printing parts with the accuracy and fine features needed for tooling.
- Precise material deposition
- CNC machining to refine shape
- End mills as small as 0.006” for fine features
ACCURACY OF
+/- 0.001″ PER INCH
BEST-IN-CLASS
SURFACE FINISH
Mantle’s printed tools feature best-in-class surface finish for metal 3D printers with 1-3µm Ra (Charmilles 26-28 ), similar to the surface finish of a sinker EDM.Printed part detail and shut-off surfaces are ready for molding with little to no post-processing.
- No layer lines
- Dense steel tool components without pitting
- Polish to an A2 level
EASY TO USE
Make tooling components with the push of a button. Components that traditionally required years of training to make now need only minutes of user interaction.
- No layer lines
- Dense steel tool components without pitting
- Polish to an A2 level
DESIGNED FOR THE SHOP FLOOR
Mantle’s printer and furnace sit alongside existing toolmaking equipment and have familiar power, air, and EH&S requirements.
- Standard shop power and air
- No dedicated room required
- No loose metal powders
MODERN AND IMPROVING
Mantle’s printer is built with a modern architecture and improves over time.
- In situ process monitoring
- Remote software updates to improve system performance
- Polish to an A2 level
