CEO and Co-Founder, Mantle

“We are pleased to have Nilesh join our team,” said Ted Sorom, CEO and co-founder at Mantle. “Nilesh brings extensive experience building software for both demanding industrial applications and highly-usable consumer applications. The Mantle TrueShape™ process is fundamentally a digital process that is driven by software. Nilesh will help deliver a complete solution to our customers that reliably produces precision parts. In turn, our customers will be able to reduce the time and cost of bringing their products to market.”

Dixit’s career spans over twenty years and includes more than five years at GE Digital. He led engineering teams responsible for building applications on Predix, GE’s Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) platform. These applications included Brilliant Manufacturing smart manufacturing products and industry-specific vertical applications. Dixit holds several approved and pending patents in the field of IIoT. Dixit’s experience with user-friendly consumer applications includes his recent position as the Head of Consumer Platform at Realtor.com and earlier roles at Intuit and eBay.

“I am thrilled to join the outstanding team at Mantle and to help bring a complete software, hardware, and materials solution to our customers,” said Dixit. “The process of making tools today requires many different machines, each of which must be programmed for every tool. Mantle’s TrueShapeTM process eliminates much of this effort through a digital metal additive manufacturing process that automatically prints and shapes a part from a user’s digital file. I am excited to help bring this next-generation solution to our customers.”
